Our name is inspired by Aelia Capitolina, a Roman colony built around 135 AD on the ruins of Jerusalem in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Our name is also inspired by the literary character King Aeolus who makes an appearance in The Odyssey by Homer.
The icons that shape the Aeolus Tours logo each represent a different category of tours that we offer which are interconnected as you can’t experience one aspect of the Holy Land without experiencing the others.
The Yellow Pillar represents Christian Pilgrimages:
The pillar is a structural element symbolizing the archeological preservation of Holy Sites. Visiting the Holy Land is not only a spiritual journey for the different Christian denominations; it is also a physically historical one as there are many archeological sites that commemorate Holy events that take place in the Bible.
The Green Leaf represents Adventure Tours:
The leaf symbolizes responsible tourism by our commitment to respecting the local communities and environment. It also symbolizes the bond with nature people experience when on adventure tours. Our trekking and hiking trails take guests through the beautiful countryside with incredible views of the mountains, desert and sea.

Throughout history fish has been utilized as a main food source in virtually every region around the world and has often been seen as a symbol of economic importance as well as human culture.
